Biography:
Angie Boro is a 33-year-old contemporary artist based in Paris. Trained in philosophy at the EHESS under Jean-Marie Schaeffer, she initially explored questions of space and gesture within an academic framework, through the lens of phenomenology and cinema. .
Her artistic practice blends site-specific performance, writing and digital images. This formal hybridization supports a central question in her work: the relationship between repetition in similarity and accident that triggers deviation.
What emerges from her work is an undiminished admiration for the rhythmic, cadenced everyday life and its minute variations, which speak volumes about who we are as human beings.
